A holy moment I had this week was I helped my brother with cleaning the house and I prayed for my Grandparents.

The works of mercy that I plan to do is clothe the naked. I am going to go through my clothes and donate the clothes that don’t fit me and the ones I don’t wear anymore and give them to the Salvation Army.

3 things that will happen at my confirmation are: we will stand in line and my sponsor will have her hand in my shoulder, the Bishop will make a cross on my forehead with oil while saying my confirmation name. The Bishop will say “Be sealed with the gift of the Holy Spirit.” and I will say “Amen.” The bishop then says, “Peace be with you.”

I have never met him before but I did see him at my brother's confirmation. I thought it was very interesting that part of his job is to confirm the confirmation candidates.

I learnt that the church is not just a building, it is a family and a place to talk to god.

We pray to the creed to show our faith to God. The creed is important for us to understand our faith.

The difference is the gifts of the Holy Spirit is given to us at baptism and we use them when we need them. The fruits of the Holy Spirit are our behaviours and actions when using the gifts.

The 7 gifts of the Holy Spirit are: wisdom, understanding, counsel, fortitude, knowledge, piety and fear of the lord. I am looking forward to receiving the gift of knowledge so I can continue to learn that happiness comes from God not material things.

The Holy Spirit is within you and provides us with joy, encouragement, kindness and teaches us to be a good person.

What inspired me most about Blessed Carlo Acuti is how he spread Jesus‘ love to the whole world through talking to people and his website.

The new thing I learned about the bible was that it was originally written in Hebrew and Greek. The biggest challenge for me to read the bible every day would be to understand what I am reading.

It is important to pray to build a relationship with God. I talk to god about all the good and bad things in my life.

I have learned that Elijah was a prophet and he trusted Jesus to take care of him. This affects my life because I need to trust God as well and pray to him and ask him for help.

The disciples of Jesus followed him, they listened to him, they watched what he did, they learned from him, and they lived like him. I can be a better disciple by learning from my religion teacher at school and by praying to Jesus more often.

My relationship with Jesus is like a teacher. He teaches me right from wrong and forgives me when I make mistakes.

My dog Penny brings me so much joy. She is always happy to see me and she keeps me company when I am bored. It makes me happy teaching her tricks and playing with her.

I would say that I make good decisions most of the time. My conscience helps me make good decisions and I don't like getting into trouble so I try my best to make good decisions
